TPP™ Carbo - 60 Capsules

$33.00

TPPTM Carbo is formulated to provide optimum digestibility of various complex polysaccharides found in grains, seeds, legumes, vegetables and other plant materials. Improperly digested, these plant-based compounds create various discomforts including formation of gases, imbalances in the intestinal microflora ecosystem and metabolites that may promote various metabolic disorders. The powerful, natural ingredients in TPPTM Carbo support the GI tract by improving epithelial cell vitality, strengthening peristalsis, preventing excess gas formation and improving tolerance of vegetables and legumes. The herbs in this natural formulation soothe and support both the GI tract and the liver and enhance the overall digestion and absorption processes of the body.

INDICATIONS:

  • LEGUME (BEAN) INTOLERANCE - alpha-Galactosidase breaks down galactosidic linkages, common in legume carbohydrates. This enzyme is not normally present in humans. As a result, this enzyme is of particular value to those who choose a diet rich in legumes or who have a special sensitivity to them. TPPTM Protease Blend will help digest the relatively high protein content in legumes.
  • CHRONIC FLATULENCE - Flatulence results from bacterial fermentation of any undigested carbohydrates, not just beans. TPPTM Carbo contains an array of enzymes specific for carbohydrates plus carminative herbs to relieve excess gas formation and retention.
  • CHILDREN'S COLIC - In many cases, one important contributor to colic is food allergy. Since food antigens are destroyed if food is thoroughly digested, the array of digestive enzymes found in TPPTM Carbo is of benefit for colic in children where food allergy is a direct cause of the condition.
  • LOW BLOOD SUGAR - Chronic inability to fully digest complex carbohydrates often leads to the consumption of large quantities of simple sugars. This, in turn, leads to sudden large spikes in blood sugar levels. In some individuals, the resulting rise in blood insulin levels is excessive and causes a sudden fall in blood sugar. The enzyme blends and nutrients in TPPTM Carbo supports the thorough digestion of complex carbohydrates.

    COMPONENT BENEFITS:

TzymeTM is the trademark of a proprietary blend of highly active, functional enzymes. These enzymes are pH balanced and GI tract stable. This blend is formulated to enhance the digestive process and impart systemic benefits.

TzymeTM Protease Blend - This proprietary blend of enzymes consists of alkaline, neutral and acid proteases with endo/exo peptidase activities. The proteases will help in hydrolyzing dietary proteins as well as cellular debris in the GI tract. This hydrolization process helps to prevent the formation of toxigenic amines.

TzymeTM Lipase Blend -The lipolytic enzymes in this blend ensure hydrolysis of lipids in the GI tract and within some of the herbal ingredients. This will promote bio-availability and absorption of nutrients.

TzymeTM Polysaccharolytic Blend - The enzymes in this formulation are designed to ensure the hydrolysis of the various glycosidic bonds in legumes, vegetables, fruits and other plant materials. Dietary carbohydrates consist of several different types of complex polysaccharides. These polysaccharides provide necessary monosaccharides to be used for energy and synthesis of glycoproteins. The complete digestion of the polysaccharides reduces irritation of intestinal mucosa and prevents excess gas formation in the GI tract. Amylase and glucoamylase are starch (amylose) digesting enzymes from Aspergillus oryzae. Supplementation with amylase and glucoamylase allows digestion of starchy foods during their transit through the gastrointestinal tract. These enzymes can tolerate the low pH of the gastric juice. Amylase hydrolyzes the starchy foods and liberates maltose whereas the glucoamylase removes D-glucose residues by hydrolyzing 1,4 D-glucosidic bonds. Glucoamylase from Aspergillus niger can also cleave the 1,6 D-glucosidic bonds found in amylopectin. Malt-diastase an enzyme closely related to amylase, attacks starch at their ends, cleaving off disaccharides. Enzymes bound to the brush border of epithelial cells lining the small intestine then break down disaccharides. The final products, simple sugars, are readily absorbed into the circulation. Cellulase an enzyme that breaks down cellulose, (main component of plant fiber) is not produced by the human body. The addition of cellulase is not primarily intended to break down cellulose to the extent required for absorption, but rather to increase its solubility and thus enhance its ability to bind water and toxins. Binding water increases stool bulk and decreases transit time. Pectinase/phytase respectively break down pectin, a non-cellulose polysaccharide commonly found in fruits and vegetables, and phytic acid (inositol hexaphosphoric acid) found in grains, seeds, rhizomes and other plant materials.

Ginger Root Extract - An excellent remedy for many digestive complaints, ginger root's benefits include improvement of indigestion, nausea and gas. Its beneficial effects are largely due to its volatile oil and oleoresin content. One mechanism by which ginger achieves its effects is through support for mucin production (which protects the digestive tract). Ginger root contains a digestive enzyme, zingiban, whose effectiveness even exceeds that of papain.

Peppermint Extract - This herb is excellent for the digestive system. Its actions relieve gas, increase the flow of digestive juices and bile and relax the muscles of the gut. Peppermint oil inhibits gastrointestinal smooth muscle contractions. Peppermint also inhibits and destroys many kinds of microorganisms that create severe digestive problems as in irritable bowel symptoms.

Artichoke - This nutrient contains caffeylquinic acid compounds. These substances are probably the most important constituent for stimulating bile secretion and lowering cholesterol.

Fennel Seed Extract - Fennel seed contains about 8% volatile oil (about 80% anethole plus fenchone and methyl chavicol) that relieves gas. The actions of this ingredient promote gastrointestinal motility. In higher concentrations, as in this formula, it acts as an antispasmodic.

Flaxseed - This ingredient contains the essential fatty acids and lipid soluble vitamins for proper nutrition. The antioxidant properties of this ingredient help the body to fight free radicals."
